something didn't make sense

We looked into the eyes of athletes, and saw a confusing void. Moments of total freedom crowded out by stress, fear, hesitation, expectation, uncertainty, lack of clarity, over-trying, overthinking and overwhelm. We saw stagnation. Athletes going through the motions with no clear, sustainable fulfillment from the everyday experience of sport.

So We Decided

To do the only thing we knew how to do. We listened for what was missing. There was passion, purpose, and the dream of possibility, yet there was no simple integrated path for self-empowered, measurable progress toward that undiscovered possibility.

We put our heads together and reflected on our sport experiences - Olympics, National Championships, and Pick-Up Games in the Park - and created the Praxis Athlete Paradigm, an active and multi-dimensional process through which athletes become aware of and make choices toward the actualization of their personal potential in sport and life.
